We’ve tried to keep our insurance options simple and easy to understand.

Basic cover is included in your daily hire rate, however many travellers choose to upgrade their cover for added protection and peace of mind while travelling New Zealand.

Things to consider when choosing your cover option:

*24/7 Roadside Assistance is included, however some situations are not covered under the policy. In certain cases, the roadside assistance provider may request a credit card and place a temporary hold on it while the issue is assessed.

Guests may be responsible for costs relating to non-mechanical callouts such as lockouts, flat batteries, tyre changes, incorrect fuelling or similar user-related incidents.

Please also note that if the rental terms and conditions are breached, any applicable insurance cover or excess reduction may become void and the hirer may be responsible for all associated costs.
