Yes. Full cover insurance is included in your rental — no extras, no surprises.
For pick-ups between May and September, we provide a complimentary winter pack to keep you warm and comfortable. This includes extra sleeping bags, a heater for use at powered campsites, and a hot water bottle.
The winter pack must be requested in advance and is only available for bookings during these months each year.
If your driver’s licence is in English, you can usually drive in New Zealand for up to 12 months without an IDP. If it’s not in English, you’ll need an IDP alongside your licence.
Should you have a digital driving license – which is not from New Zealand – you must also have an international driving license.
